My husband and I tried Cook in Genie for the first time last night and were so pleased! Our genie arrived right on time, fully prepared and cooked the butter chicken and basmati rice that we had selected. The meal was excellent and a large enough portion for 2 nights for the two of us. Our genie left the kitchen spotless. The entire process was easy and seamless and we look forward to working with them again – we’re thinking a small dinner party group for our next experience. Thank you for letting me enjoy a night off from meal prep (actually 2 nights, with leftovers)!

The cooking genie comes in with all the ingredients, you just provide the pots and pans as needed, they cook, dish out the food how you want it or leave it in the pans, clean up and leave! It truly feels like a magical genie experience. I chose Indian food for my crew because we love Indian inspired meals and we absolutely loved it! Fresh cooked food from scratch in my home by the cooking genie, perfect for nights I don’t feel like cooking. I will be using this service again, it’s so worth it and convenient. A must try experience!

These guys are amazing! You just choose what you want and the chef comes to your place all prepared. They even bring the fresh ingreditents that are required for the dishes you choose. The portion sizes are big and the Chef cleans up after the cooking is done. Could’nt be happier!

This is my new favorite way to eat out in my own home. It doesn’t really cost any more than going out to a regular restaurant. However, I can watch the chef cut, cook and prepare all the food. All the food is purchased fresh with hours of it being cooked. This is one of the most amazing experiences you can have in your own home, not to mention you can invite friends to share the experience with you. Jared cooked us the most amazing Thai food that I’ve ever eaten. Another great thing, is there were plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. I will include photos. I think I will be trying to do this on a biweekly basis or maybe more often. I think it winds up being less expensive than me going to the grocery store buying more food than I need and then possibly not having the time to cook it the way I planned and wasting some of the spoiled food by throwing it out. I can’t say enough good things about this company and their chefs. Give them a try. You will not regret it.

There is nothing better than a highly trained chef coming to your home and cooking a delicious meal for your family. It was a treat to have someone else shop, prep, cook and clean! And it’s as affordable as eating out. Our CookinGenie, Jared, made authentic Thai food and there was enough to last for a couple of meals. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely use CookinGenie again.

Had such a great experience with CookinGenie! Booking my Genie was simple and easy, loved the menu and costs are very reasonable/similar to going out to a nice restaurant. Used the services to feed my family and for a small get together, portions were very generous and Genie was excellent! Can definitely see myself using this service again in the future to help while I host my guests and a Genie is preparing a meal in the kitchen for us. Super convenient, fun and relaxing. The best part is that the Genie even does the dishes! It doesn’t get better than that! By the way, my Genie was Courtney in the Columbus area and her Creamy Chicken Penne was AMAZING! Once the aroma of bacon filled the air, I knew I was in for a treat! The best part of CookinGenie is keeping the leftovers and uncooked remaining groceries! This is better than going out to eat because you don’t get to keep the remaining groceries. Highly recommend, loved my experience! Oh by the way, also loved the salad! Had banana foster with vanilla ice cream too which was delicious but I got too excited and ate it before I could take a picture! 😀

Using CookinGenie was such a wonderful experience. Fanan was pleasant, kind, and professional…not to mention an amazing chef! She prepared some amazing dishes for us! While we enjoyed ALL of her food, the chicken and rice, spring rolls, and baba ganoush were our favorites! We will be hiring Fanan again soon, but we are also anxious to try other CookinGenie chefs. The best part, besides the delicious authentic food, was being able to enjoy the evening without having to worry about cooking and cleaning up.

Just experienced my first session with Cookin Genie. Wow. We are blown away for so many reasons. Our chef was the ultimate gentleman and professional in every regard. Brandon was prompt and efficient with this time. He also made sure that he was very safe during this Covid society that we live in. The price point was great considering you are getting $40 plate meals for much less! I’m sure this mag vary from chef to chef. At least that’s how we felt about our first meal with Brandon. It was easy to figure out how to use the website. We will be using Cookin Genie again.

We’re in love with CookinGenie. We’ve had Jared out three times now, and it’s been perfection every time–some of the best Thai dishes we’ve ever had. He always leaves us with more food than we can eat and a clean kitchen (and he wears a mask the whole time he’s here). It’s the best!

I absolutely 100% will use this service again! I loved the entire experience! I scheduled Jared for my team dinner in my apartment, tiny space but big flavor! He made the best meal! My staff was happy, I was happy… and I got to enjoy my guests and have fun and having a restaurant style meal in my home, it was probably one of the coolest experiences I’ve had. Our chef was Brandon. He arrived on time and within a few minutes we were carrying on a conversation while he prepared an amazing meal for us. The fried chicken was without a doubt the best I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes were so light and fluffy, the salad was tasty. We are already planning our next meal and a party as soon as the pandemic is over.

We loved it! Genie LaMont cooked a delicious dinner and even served us which I didn’t expect. It was for my husband’s birthday. Everything looked beautiful and tasted divine. Sweet potato & Roasted Red pepper Bisque w/ cashew Sour Cream and Pistachio Encrusted Salmon, Banana Jasmine Rice & Green Beans. We got to chat a bit more when he was done which I really enjoyed. He was well prepared and very knowledgeable. We will do this again!

We gave CookinGenie a try on March 7th for a dinner party at our home. I must say I was a bit uncertain having never heard of nor tried this type of dining before. Well, I can honestly say if you have not done so, get it on your calendar. It was, to say the least, amazing. Our chef, Brandon, was the utmost professional in every way. The food he prepared had impeccable flavor with no stone unturned. The presentation was lovely. I honestly can’t say enough great things about Brandon and his culinary skills. It was easy to coordinate and very reasonably priced. Did I mention tasty? Yes oh yes. We felt it to be a WinWin in our book and all of our guests agreed. Thank you Brandon and CookinGenie. Highly recommended! Very reasonably priced. The food was absolutely amazing. Jared was on time, professional, and very accommodating. He cleaned, dried, and put away all cooking items he used. He even swept the floor and cleaned the cooktop and microwave! The pea and asparagus risotto with scallops was out of this world. His guacamole was amazing as well. We had wonderful evening today eating all delicious food made by “cookingenie” chef. We had buddha bowl and Mediterranean wraps. Cookingenie took care of everything from grocery, cooking and cleaning. Food was delicious and freshly cooked at home with all fresh ingredients. Our evening was dedicated to family since Cookingenie took care of everything in the kitchen. We highly recommend this to everyone. Must try! Wow! Cooking genie is such an awesome concept. We had a dinner party for 10 and everyone enjoyed everything immensely. We did Indian cuisine. It was better than an Indian restaurant. The genie cooked from scratch. It took him about 3 1/2 hours to prepare. You could definitely tell by the food! We would definitely use cooking genie again. Frederick prepared a delicious meal of salmon, fire roasted potatoes in our pizza oven, marinated zucchini, and salad followed by bread pudding for our team lunch at Twelve34 House. We’re excited to partner with CookinGenie and allow our guests to experience a fine dining experience in-cabin!

My friends and I had a great experience. We ordered a personal chef for lunch. The cauliflower was excellent and the chicken teriyaki was really good too. Would order again. Great when having friends over or for parties.

We had our first experience with CookinGenie on Saturday and it was amazing! Chef Matt Reed arrived prepared and ready to make his three-course menu for four. Every dish was delicious! We enjoyed wild mushroom crostini, a salad of fresh herbs, homemade cornbread, and pork tenderloin served with apple and carrot slaw as well as chive mashed potatoes. We look forward to working with Chef Matt again!

George showed and and prepped and prepared an amazing four course meal. The food was delicious and the service was nothing short of spectacular. Hosting a party with CookinGenie made entertaining a breeze. We will definitely be using this service again for future events.

We had my dads 70th birthday dinner prepared by George and it was spectacular!!! From his arrival, food prep, cooking, cleaning while cooking..!!! It was the perfect way to host a dinner party and still be able to relax and enjoy the evening. He cooked everything to perfection, one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. We will be rebooking, for sure.

We hired cookieGenie for our small gathering in our house. Right from the booking, the chef to the food prepared everything was top notch. We booked the chef and she was very professional and responsive. She was very punctual. She accommodated our request for preparing a meatless/diary free meal. She was very enthusiastic and charming. She walked us on how she was going to prepared the food and the food was full of flavors. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. The food was amazing. The salmon was perfect. It’s so nice to have perfectly cooked fish. Also, the chef was nice and generous with all of our questions. It made the meal extra special to know that we were eating things that he had picked out of his personal garden.

The app is really easy to use. I have used George several times for very high end dinner parties paired with high end wine. Each course is unique and teaming with flavor and expertly paired with wine! He will tailor the menu for any dietary restriction you amd your guests may have. I cant wait to plan my next dinner party.

We got the pleasure of having Isaiah Mcatee come to cook an amazing breakfast for us this past Sunday. Not only was the food seriously delicious, but Isaiah was extremely friendly, proud of his work, and answered any and all questions we had along the way. The Spiced Bacon was to die for, and funnel cake waffles were truly one of a kind. I’d never had bread wings before, but this may be a new requirement for any brunch. I would highly recommend Isaiah and CookinGenie to anyone!

I was excited to learn that cookingenie is now in the DMV area. I had previously experienced this in my friend’s place in Ohio. Registering on the app, viewing the menu and placing the order was super easy. I decided to try chef (Dashawn Toppin) last weekend. He was extremely professional and food was all freshly cooked in our kitchen. We ordered Thai salad, Fish tacos and Blackened Salmon. All the food was excellent. My friends were amazed at the quality of food, personal chef-like experience at such a nominal price. I thought I would have some left overs, but I was wrong. We are looking forward to experience more of Dashawn’s and other Chef’s food.

We recently had the pleasure of having Chef Elysa Moses cook for us, and it was an incredible experience! My fiancé, who can be quite selective with food, was thoroughly impressed and loved every single dish. Chef Moses crafted a Caesar salad from scratch—no pre-packaged ingredients here! The croutons were freshly made, adding a perfect crunch to the fresh greens. The garlic mashed potatoes were a creamy delight, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. However, the real standout was the buffalo chicken nachos, creatively topped with shaved carrots and sliced peppers, which added a fresh twist to a classic dish. The spinach artichoke dip, served hot and fresh in Chef Moses’s own skillet, was simply irresistible. Instead of typical chips, she sliced and seasoned bread to dip, enhancing the flavors and textures even more. Chef Moses was not only a fantastic cook but also maintained cleanliness and organization throughout the cooking process. Her polite, professional, and friendly demeanor made the evening even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better culinary experience at home!
