Bridget Karr
Chef Bridget grew up cooking meals from scratch at home with her mother. She is a third generation cook whose grandmother spent her days cooking meals from scratch for her thirteen children. Chef Bridget began working at the age of ten in her mother's restaurant. She would wrap potatoes, make salads, and do dishes. It was here she began learning the ins and outs of the culinary industry. At fourteen she relocated to the beautiful eastern shores of Maryland and began working at a seafood house and crab shack. She worked her way from dishwasher to lead line cook in a few short years. From there, Chef Bridget left the seafood house and explored the world of fine dining. At the age of twenty she relocated to Medina, OH and studied under a pitmaster to learn the art of BBQ. At twenty-three, she left the BBQ pit and began working at a high-volume steakhouse. Chef Bridget stayed there for ten years and gained experience in butchery and mastered the art of wood-fire grilling. At thirty-two Bridget welcomed a daughter, and at thirty-three she stepped down from her chef position to focus on family. Fun facts about Chef Bridget: She spent a week cooking for Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) while filming 2014's FearClinic. She grew up in a railroading family, traveling across the United States and cooking for a variety of cultures and cuisines. And she is an avid fisherman and wildlife enthusiast.
